Storm Salon Social is the social media manager of record for independent hair salons across the United States. Each salon is a separate business that authorizes us to publish to its own TikTok account, on the schedule it agreed to, and can revoke that authorization at any time.
Salon owner authorizes
Each salon connects their own TikTok account through TikTok's standard, secure login (OAuth). Nothing happens without their explicit approval.
We publish under their rules
Audience, comments, Duet, Stitch and commercial disclosure are set per post, only from the options TikTok reports for that account. Nothing is preselected, and a reel longer than the account's own cap is refused.
Owner stays in control
The salon can add a commercial sound, publish on their cadence, or revoke our access at any time from their TikTok settings.
How the integration works
Login Kit confirms which account a post is going to. The Content Posting API delivers the video. We store the account's authorization token and identifier and nothing else — no videos, no follower counts, no messages.
- The salon owner opens their own invite link on their own device, clicks Connect TikTok, and approves the app on TikTok's official authorization screen. We never hold a salon's TikTok password.
- The authorization token that comes back is scoped to that one account, and is the only thing that lets us post to it.
- Before any posting option appears, the app reads
creator_infofor that account and offers only the audiences, interactions and video length TikTok reports as available. - The video is delivered by
PULL_FROM_URLfrom our TikTok-verified domain, with the audience and disclosure settings chosen for that post. - The salon can revoke access from TikTok's own settings at any time, without telling us.
Who we are
The Salon Reel Publisher is built and operated by Storm Global, Inc., founded in 2017. Every salon on it is an independent business that owns its own TikTok account and its own content, and engages us under a signed agreement. Storm owns none of these accounts. The video is original, shot for that salon, and posted to that salon's account under its own authorization — never scraped or copied from another platform.
